My photographic journey……
My interest in photography dates back almost 50 years. While at the time, I was more fascinated with the look, feel and sound of a mechanical shutter and the view thru an optical viewfinder than I was at actually taking photos. I never developed my own and the frustration of waiting for pictures to come back from the local camera store moved my passion to other pastimes. After 35 years working long hours in the financial services industry and a number of frustrating years, since retirement, of perfecting my golf game, I’ve come back to the digital era of photography. A Sony shooter and more recently a Leica fanboy, I’ve recently discovered the joy of street photography. There is a never-ending supply of content in New York City or any city for that matter. Thanks to those friendly subjects for allowing this guy to pursue his passion and to those fellow photographers who accompanied me on this journey.
